My Scale Laughed at Me. Okay. It didn’t really. But if it could have….
Okay, so I didn’t gain or lose any. Ha. I probably lost a bit, but then gained it all back. This past week or so, I haven’t been keeping tabs on what I’m eating.
No loss means I need to lose 10 lbs in the next three and a half weeks, to meet my goal of losing 10 lbs by February 29th. I have no doubts I can manage that, if I make a commitment to do it.
I’ve been getting in the exercise and drinking more water than usual. Not enough. I need to start measuring the water. I do very well on my program, when I measure out the amount of water I need to drink. So, tonight before I go to bed, I’ll do that for tomorrow.
As far as the exercise… I managed the 30 minutes 3x this week. That along with my regular program of exercising during the commercial breaks. I really feel better when I get up and move!
I’ve checked in… a few hours early. Who knows, maybe if I waited to weigh in tomorrow morning, I’d show a loss. Oh well… there we have it. Tonight I’m working on my plan for the next week. Without a plan, I’m basically falling back into old eating habits…
Have a great week everyone!

Well done on maintaining! Time to step it up a bit? Good luck on the water. It really does help!

You have good goals for yourself during a time when there’s a lot going on. Keep up the focus on the water and the exercise and you’ll do fine!
Enjoy your day!

Hanlie, it would be great if I would start stepping it up a bit. I’m certain that would help with the goal of 10 lbs by Feb. 29th..
Lori, thank you! There has been a lot going on in my life. We all have our struggles and sorrows. I’m learning to deal. I’ve been reading a lot about setting goals. I have goals set for the big picture… then there’s my little goals that help me along the way.
Felicia, thank you! I think it’s going to be a SUPER day!

You’re doing great on the exercise! Keep up the good work. And you’ve got a good plan in place for taking care of the rest. I look forward to hearing about your loss next week when you weigh in - you’re doing so well I have confidence it will happen for you!

(New to healthy you challenge)
I’m sure with some good planning and goal setting, like you mentioned, you’ll do great. Riding the bike between commercial breaks sounds like a good idea, by the way! I might try something like that. Have a great week!

maintenance isnt bad at all, that does take a lot of work believe it or not. but I understand that its disapointing, especially when you want a loss. but dont worry about meeting your goal..sure goals are great. but your are doing this for LIFE, so its not a rush to get to the end or what have you learned? according to my goal, I should have met it 2 weeks ago and I still have 13 pounds to lose. but actually its kind of good, I have more time to prepare myself and I have learned a lot.

Great job on making exercise a part of your life! Just stay true to your plan and exercise, the scale will catch up with you eventually!
